How do I delete my Bold.org account?
You can delete your account directly from your account settings:
Log in to your Bold.org account
Go to Settings > Account
Follow the prompts to delete your account
This is the fastest way to remove your account and data.
What happens when I delete my account?
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. When you delete your account:
Your profile will be permanently removed
All scholarship applications will be deleted
All account data and associated information will be permanently erased
This action cannot be undone
Make sure you're certain before proceeding.
Is there anything I should do before deleting my account?
Yes β before deleting, check whether you have any remaining balance in your account. If you do, make sure to transfer the balance out first, as it will not be recoverable after deletion.
What if I can't delete my account through account settings?
If you're unable to complete the self-serve deletion (for example, if you can't log in), you can contact Support and request that we delete your account on your behalf.
We'll ask you to confirm that you understand:
Account and profile deletion is permanent
The action cannot be reversed
All data, applications, and associated information will be permanently removed
Once we receive your confirmation, we'll process the deletion and send you a confirmation.
Can I reactivate my account after deleting it?
No. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be restored. If you'd like to use Bold.org again in the future, you would need to create a new account.
