How do I unsubscribe from Bold.org emails?
You can manage your email preferences directly from your account settings:
Log in to your Bold.org account
Go to Settings > Notifications
Toggle off the promotional email setting
This will unsubscribe you from promotional emails across all Bold.org communication channels.
If I unsubscribe in one place, does it apply everywhere?
Yes. When you unsubscribe from any communication channel β whether through your notification settings, an email link, or any other method β your unsubscribe status is automatically applied across all platforms. You don't need to unsubscribe separately from different channels.
Will I still receive important account emails after unsubscribing?
Unsubscribing affects promotional emails only. You will still receive essential transactional and account-related emails, such as:
Scholarship application confirmations
Winner notifications
Account verification and security emails
Password reset emails
I unsubscribed but I'm still getting emails. What should I do?
After unsubscribing, allow up to 24 hours for the change to fully take effect across all systems.
If you're still receiving promotional emails after 24 hours, contact Support and we'll make sure your preferences are updated on our end.
Can I re-subscribe later?
Yes. If you change your mind, you can go back to Settings > Notifications and toggle your email preferences back on at any time.
