How many referrals do I need for Priority Pass?

You need 2 successful referrals. Each referred student must sign up using your referral link, create a verified student account, and confirm their email address.

What counts as a successful referral?

A referral is counted when the person you referred:

  1. Signs up using your unique referral link

  2. Creates a verified Bold.org student account

  3. Confirms their email address

All three steps must be completed for the referral to count.

Is Priority Pass activated automatically?

Yes. Once your 2 successful referrals are verified by the system, Priority Pass is automatically activated on your account. You don't need to do anything extra β€” it just turns on.

My friend signed up but my referral didn't count. Why?

The most common reasons a referral might not count:

  • Your friend didn't use your referral link when signing up (they may have gone directly to the Bold.org website instead)

  • Your friend hasn't confirmed their email address yet

  • Your friend hasn't completed account verification

If you believe the referral should have counted, contact Support with your account email and your friend's details, and we can investigate.

Can I have Priority Pass and other boosts at the same time?

Priority Pass and other scholarship boost features are mutually exclusive β€” you can only have one active at a time. If you have a different boost active, Priority Pass won't stack on top of it.

How long does Priority Pass last?

Once activated, Priority Pass remains active on your account. It gives you 24-hour early access each time a new scholarship is published.

Where can I find my referral link?

  1. Log in to your Bold.org account

  2. Go to Scholarships > "Unlock Priority Pass"

  3. Your unique referral link will be displayed on that page

You can copy it, share via email, or post on social media directly from that page.
